Madeline Snider is an independent counsel and arbitrator with over a decade of experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution, focusing on complex, cross-border cases. Before founding Snider Dispute Resolution PLLC, Madeline practiced at top international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in New York and Madrid. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), and is based in Mexico City and New York.

Madeline has been involved in over 30 commercial and investment disputes under various arbitration rules (including the ICC, UNCITRAL, LCIA, ICSID, and AAA/ICDR Rules), managing high-stakes cases spanning industries and regions around the globe. She has particular expertise in disputes related to Latin America and the energy and natural resources sector.

In addition to her arbitration work, Madeline advises clients in relation to US economic sanctions—a dynamic field that increasingly intersects with international disputes and affects actors across jurisdictions. She also gained in-house experience working with Anheuser-Busch InBev's global legal team and maintains an active pro bono practice. 

Qualifications

Madeline holds a J.D. with honors from New York University School of Law and a B.A. with honors in Government from Cornell University.

Madeline is admitted to practice law in New York State. A US national and resident of Mexico, she has lived in Europe, Latin America and the UK. She is a native English speaker and is fluent in Spanish.
